Each Wolfard Oil Lamp casts the light of 3 candles, due to the size of the wick. The effect of the outer cylinder of glass is to magnify the light and cause it to glisten.  We sell these either with the lacquered, non-tarnishing solid brass bases or without them.  They are equally beautiful either way.
